Lord Glover should really lose his lands. There has to be somebody more deserving. Make Tormund a Lord!

He’s in the trailer for next week. He’s still alive (but feels like a total afterthought)

Everybody complains that assassins are OP, until a natural 20 on a sneak attack prevents a TPK.

-Also, the Hound survived: CLEGANE BOWL!

Biggest reason Lyanna should have survived because there is no one better at shaming people than her.

I guess the DM allowed her to Sneak Attack since Bran was technically flanking.

She failed her Move Silent roll but still scored a critical hit. Backstab is an overrated attack, anyway.

At least she got the badass death she deserved.

The Night King doesn’t feel like a villain.  He’s more like a natural disaster, or Godzilla.  I like that he didn’t start explaining himself in a pleasant baritone.

Ayra basically was rolling high tonight and scored a crit success on her Sneak Attack on the Night King

I guess the show has lost a lot of steam with how anticlimactic the end of the battle ended up being and most deaths were entirely gratuitous, with Cersei as the next Big Bad feeling like a step down...

I’m feeling pretty conflicted. Am I happy my girl was the one to do it? OF COURSE. but i definitely didn’t think it would happen in this episode, and I’m feeling a little iffy about spending the last half of the season dealing with Cersei sans White Walkers. Personally I found the Night King plot to be a lot more

Arya killed the fucking Night King. THAT one I didn’t see coming at all. And Lady Mormont: thank you.

Bad day for House Mormont. (I’m not crying, YOU’RE crying!)

And no real surprises, except Lyanna. That one hurt.

I doubt that we will get them back but I still hope for Meera and Howland Reed. If Dany still doesn’t believe it, Brann could easily mention that there is another witness who isn’t “Jon’s brother or best friend.

Oh, and when Dany was talking about trusting a man taller than Jon, I thought she was talking about Jorah, not Drogo. So far this season is really stacked with the “I trust you with my life” type language and I’ve lost track of who’s said it to who.

Also, Melisandre will be the Deus ex machina towards the end of the next episode

Can I just point out, every time I read these headlines it makes me think of a newspaper headline:

I agree about John Bradley. I’m never a fan of self-insert “everyman” characters (I’d rather cut the crap and just read about awesome people) but most of my favorite line readings have been his. To Grenn: “You know what I like about you? Nothing.” To Bran being the 3 eyed raven: “...Iiiiii don’t know what that means.”
