And once again I’m reminded that Pete Buttigieg is still in the race.

You’re right. This isn’t body positivity. This feels like somebody starving for validation and willing to circus sideshow herself to get it. This just makes me sad. Somebody has to tell her you don’t have to be on all the time. Just wear regular clothes and enjoy the game.

What makes me mad is the narrative that we can’t question her about the inappropriate affair with a congressional staffer while simultaneously supporting her over what her husband did to her.

She resigned because of an inappropriate relationship with a congressional staffer that could have led to hearings.

Ugh, as a woman who goes out out to eat alone quite a bit, I hate this. Just because I am a woman alone doesn’t mean I want to be yammered at. Polite, unobtrusive service should be the norm.

Obviously this guy isn’t actually upset that the bartender didn’t talk to him. He’s upset that the cute girl didn’t talk to him. He’s focusing his feelings of frustration on the bartender because the bartender is the person in a service position, so LW feels entitled to dictate his behavior.

Meanwhile, next question: why won’t this bartender and the needy dude sitting at the bar just let me eat alone in peace?
