Only ever dated one tall girl, she was 5'10"-ish. Then in good sized heels nearly eye level with me, oh baby! That was nice. Everyone else has been average to short. :-(

re: the weight thing - it’s mildly startling how many guys there are out there who have exacting standards for what they want in a woman while simultaneously wondering why women won’t just accept them as they are.

“She needs to be a brunette, size 4 or below, at least a C-cup, with tiny feet, or I’m not interested.

and also can’t proclaim to break the 6'0" threshold

Because the Lollipop Guild is full, short stack.

I’ve never liked minimalism for the sake of minimalism, it’s just boring to me. Sure, it was world-changing almost a hundred years ago when minimalist architecture started to rise, but now it does nothing for me.

That guy’s pre-lengthening height, 5'7", is listed in second place and I have to admit I wondered if that was on purpose.

I love antiques and despise mass-market minimalism—to hell with bland, white-walled condos!

I’m glad this ran a few hours after the Jezebel story of the guy dying from limb-lengthening surgery!

This article pissed me off. It was effectively “I’m not sick from it and I like it so it must be safe.”

This article has convinced me we should do more, not less, about the vaping thing.

What you’re saying is exactly the entire point of my comment; that we SHOULD be reacting like that to things like cigarettes. Because we have under-reacted in the past (and now), the reasonable reactions seem overboard to us instead of appropriate.

No offence, Snoop, but THIS. ▲▲▲↑↑↑

I know, right?  When E. coli in spinach makes a lot of people sick, it’s usual to pull it from the shelves for a while and recall whole batches.  And you don’t see a bunch of bloggers going, “Stop the spinach panic! I have been eating spinach for six years and I’m fine.”

Don’t shame “snitching”. Exposing criminals is in the interest of society as a whole, and we want more people to come forward, not less. Yes, we’re talking about a garbage person, but the information he provides is valuable. And there is nothing valuable, or even moral, in remaining loyal to a criminal gang. So, don't

Honestly, the reaction to the Vape “panic” is a legitimate and reasonable reaction - something is shown to be correlated to making a bunch of people sick, and places decide to stop selling it until more information is known. That is a very sane reaction.

Ok, but as someone who works in pharma, specifically in the drug development side of things, this is a pretty standard response to unexplained deaths and serious adverse events directly linked to a product. Just because vaping is cool* doesn’t mean that industry caution should be thrown out of the window at the

Much like the people who deny climate change...

Vaping is bad just like cigarettes. You just don’t want hear about it because you vape and you want to pretend nothing is wrong. Stick your fingers in your ears and go la la la. That will help.

Supporting the side hustle of evil tobacco companies is, like, so cool. Keep on vaping and fucking up your blood pressure and heart, kids! /s

The only point that matters is that vaping has increased youth tobacco use exponentially from near-zero levels just a few years ago. That adults now find it harder to purchase a product that will ultimately kill them doesn’t bother me too much and it shouldn’t bother you either. You made the dumb choice to start
