To your one point, Ahsoka was really young at the beginning of the Clone Wars, like barely out of youngling stage. I actuality really appreciated it, because in the cartoons it was really easy to forget how young she’s supposed to be and young fucked that actually is.

I always thought pro-life *sounded* better than pro-choice. I mean, who doesn’t love life?

It’s probably going to be “Pro-Baby” from the Womb Slavery crowd.  That’s what they want to spin it as.

Come on. You know any rebrand is to confuse gullible voters that might otherwise be pro-choice. They don’t care about the toxicity of it all.

I think the pro-life/pro-choice binary, inclusive of that very terminology, has been a fixture of American politics for wayyyy longer than single-payer/“Medicare for All”, which, I suspect, will probably make it very difficult to rebrand.

The fact they think it’s the WORDS that are making them look bad instead of the actual positions they take is fucking hilarious.

I mean “pro-life” IS the branding they originally came up with, and it is already misleading. If people are seeing through the “pro-life” label, I don’t know that there is a rebrand available to them…

“Pro-Life” is the best possible branding they could have ever come up with. This is genuinely shocking.
