This is Mississippi, they probably cut funding for those services a long time ago.
Florida is one of those states that truly baffles me. It’s a serious hotbed of commerce and culture, functioning as the major connections between the US and Latin America, with all kinds of really neat cross-pollination. And it’s also the home of “Florida Man” headlines that make Onion writers look unimaginative in…
It ain’t all that hard.
Just stick with the old brick on the gas.
Florida barely has environmental protections.
30+ cars all in the same lake seems more like insurance fraud to me.
It won’t matter when the floods come and it’s all underwater...
But then Florida Man and Woman will immigrate elsewhere.
Let’s be honest: it’s Florida. This might have even just been someone trying to dispose of the cars but too lazy to take them to a proper junkyard to be properly crushed. Florida barely has environmental protections.

An inanimate object is racist? Please explain.
From the article: Amazon has even stopped working with contractors that successfully voted to unionize — though the tech giant says it had nothing to do with their unionization.
As a Teamster, I wish. FedEx is still getting away with it even with the Teamsters and UPS on the same page on this issue. Amazon has lots more money than FedEx, so I’m sure they’ll continue to get away with the whole subcontractor bullshit.
Yeah, good luck dancing on the point of that pin. The Teamsters have some of the sharpest labor lawyers in existence.
Like Uber, Amazon wants Schrodinger’s employees. Employees when they want to micromanage their 60 hours of work contractors when they want to deny benefits and prevent unions.
Wanted for questioning: Bo and Luke Duke.
Please don’t bring that racist troll out of the grays. It’s just trying to get recognized to spew its ignorant hate. The Paradox of Tolerance is in full effect. The only thing we can’t tolerate is intolerance. Humanity’s survival depends on it.
We should stop taking the right to vote away from people convicted of crimes in general. Maybe we could work on the causes of crime instead, build a society where we don’t imprison more people than the rest of the civilized world. That sort of thing.
If they have completed their sentences, and therefore, in the eyes of the law completed their punishment, then yes. That’s the very heart of the ruling, that you can’t sentences someone to 5 years, but then punish them for the rest of their lives by permanently denying them the right to vote.
