The problem there is that in order to acquire that much wealth you essentially must be a sociopath. No solidly grounded or reasonable person would ever be aggressive enough, callous enough or greedy enough to make it to that point.

They wouldn’t do it if people didn’t pay for it. The fact that not only is it not being removed from games but getting even more expensive and aggressive should tell you something about most of the consumer base.

Its going to be decades of work to fix things.

We already have, and every day we continue to pump out and burn fossil fuels the worse it will get. With no realistic or reasonable way to offset the extra stored fuels we’re burning it will only ever get worse and worse. Even if we stopped burning all fossil fuels today, we’d still be stuck with the heat increases…

“Twitter” doesn’t want Elon to run the show. What the executives want is to get 44 billion from Elon, bail the fuck out and leave the company and employees high and dry. Elon and Twitter can all diaf for all I care.

And that’s the real danger in this country. If Republicans were smart enough to just chill on the immigration and overt racism for just one election cycle across the board, it’s likely they’d sweep to voting for the very reasons you gave.

Yeah, it’s not an if, it’s a when. Humanity will either destroy itself and most other species directly or will render the planet inhospitable to our kind eventually. It’s human nature, and as we’ve seen greed, pride and envy will overrule any attempts at compassion or progress for the sake of everyone.

Yeah, he is absolutely one of those people that has absolutely zero belief structure or system of morals or life guidelines beyond “whatever helps me directly is the only thing that matters.”

Still currently 400 people a day dying in this country despite the ability to reduce or remove that risk being widely and freely available. Shameful, really.

And it also shows just how little the American public understands about the role and authority of the president, and the timeframes in which decisions made actually occur.
