I had 5 relatives get Covid over the holidays despite all being fully vaccinated and boosted, and 2 almost ended up in the hospital. So with regards to how dangerous Omicron is, still looks pretty fucking shitty to me. I shudder to think how many relatives I would have lost this month without vaccines and boosters.

“Omicron is just like a light flu, much less dangerous” yet we’re still having nearly 2000 people die per day. I get that in terms of deaths per case it’s lower than before, but 2000 FUCKING PEOPLE PER DAY. What the fuck is wrong with people in this country?

Quite a few of them are learning lessons right now, unfortunately that knowledge is going to the grave, so not much progress being had.

Yeah I’ve already mastered self defense for carjackings or theft. It’s called insurance and walking away to continue breathing. If someone is determined to murder me for my shit regardless of whether I’m going to fight back or not then, well, guess my number’s been punched. Not going to miss this world all that much

Sounds like the same kind of fun banter or back-and-forth I’d have with my friends, without anyone being a jerk and everyone in on the joke. Whole lot of nothing being played for minimal chuckles and clicks.

Yup. All it takes is a pile of even bigger morons to sell the con to, and we have no shortage of those in this country.

No longer an emotion, just my normal natural mental state these days. Once you’ve spent a decade or more at that level there’s no such things as feelings and emotions anymore.

When the hospitals aren’t over capacity and denying life saving treatment to non-Covid patients, then we can move on. Unfortunately that’s not currently the case, so it’s still useful to be a grown ass adult capable of responsible decisions and not a whiny child that can’t be assed to be even partially responsible for

The parent, because they should at least be expected to know better.

The stereotype with the Vette will continue despite it’s mid-engine plea for a younger demographic, simply because they are still expensive cars and out of reach for most of the younger generation, especially when insurance and fuel are factored in.

It’s that exactly. They’re anti-vaxx, they just don’t want to face any potential social consequences of directly saying they’re anti-vaxx.

Also known as: Tell me how you love to jerk off constantly and be violent without telling me you love to jerk off constantly and be violent.

In this case it was likely:

Sure, but a track is going to be the only place where that can actually legally happen, so is it worth it?

That interior is exactly what I would expect when marketing to Boomers, and feels just as outdated.

I TRUST MY OILING SYSTEM

Yeah, it’s Texas, and the pandemic is NOT over. Even given it’s Austin, I’d still imagine only about 70% of those in attendance are vaccinated, at best. Can’t wait to see the local spikes in a week.

Baby food.

My 1947 International Harvester KB2. It’s been modified with a Mustang II IFS, Ford 8.8" rear with 4 wheel disc brake conversion, and Chevy 350 with a 700R4 trans from the late 90's. I’ve replaced about everything but the body and frame, added fuel injection but kept the stock gauge cluster, and I’ll have that truck

I’ve just about had enough of this world by 42, I can only imagine that by my 70's or early 80's I’m desperately going to want out.
