Yeah, it’s Texas, and the pandemic is NOT over. Even given it’s Austin, I’d still imagine only about 70% of those in attendance are vaccinated, at best. Can’t wait to see the local spikes in a week.

Baby food.
My 1947 International Harvester KB2. It’s been modified with a Mustang II IFS, Ford 8.8" rear with 4 wheel disc brake conversion, and Chevy 350 with a 700R4 trans from the late 90's. I’ve replaced about everything but the body and frame, added fuel injection but kept the stock gauge cluster, and I’ll have that truck…
I’ve just about had enough of this world by 42, I can only imagine that by my 70's or early 80's I’m desperately going to want out.
Those 275 people weren’t going to be driving them anyway. They’re just places to park money and swing their dicks around their other super wealthy friends.
Any rental.
I’ve used Evans Waterless Coolant in my 1970 Mustang and Chevy 350 converted 1947 International Pickup for years with great success. Temps up to 220-240F no longer concern me, though with good electric fans, shrouds and bigger radiators I can park all day at idle not see it get above 200F.
Pro-tip - Don’t eat out of a communal bowl of anything.
People who conflate funny with edgy/offensive are exhausting.
It has taken me 41 years to learn that it’s ok to spend some time doing something that just makes me happy rather than something that will have a significant impact on the rest of my life. It’s been incredibly refreshing to not feel like everything I do MUST be somehow useful going forward.
I can’t speak for all of my industry, but at our facilities if it’s anything more dangerous than water the valves are typically ABVs (Automated Block Valves) with remote actuators from the panel systems in the control rooms. Our pumps are typically not located that close to any process fluid tanks though, they’re…
Fuck no, don’t pull it. Leave it out there on the record for all to see. History can judge it, and examples of what not to do can be made with it.
I wonder if the 2021 results will look different.
Ok, thanks, that makes sense. As far as I’m aware we don’t use anything like direct mixers in any of our storage tanks, likely for reasons like this where lack of isolation would lead to us putting far worse stuff than crude oil on the ground.
Working in the chemical industry I’m curious why a seal leak would lead to a spill that lasts long enough to be captured on video by air. There should be an isolation valve between the tank and the pump(s), typically a valve on either side of the pump.
And shit like this is how we’ll lose pillows not being counted.

Yeah I don’t answer calls from anything that’s not already entered into my phone. They can leave a voicemail, or send a text with their name and I’ll put them in if needed. Otherwise any call that pops up with an unknown or a number just gets ignored and blocked.
Look Omarosa/Everyone, if you’ve got something then put it out there, otherwise stop with this performative bullshit.
To be fair we’re losing the days where you could actually troubleshoot and fix something in your living room or garage. A lot of these issues are becoming technically challenging and/or software and programming related in terms of fixes, which dramatically limits the options for real troubleshooting outside of RMA.
