Is... is that a bad thing?
Is... is that a bad thing?
People who conflate funny with edgy/offensive are exhausting.
It has taken me 41 years to learn that it’s ok to spend some time doing something that just makes me happy rather than something that will have a significant impact on the rest of my life. It’s been incredibly refreshing to not feel like everything I do MUST be somehow useful going forward.
I can’t speak for all of my industry, but at our facilities if it’s anything more dangerous than water the valves are typically ABVs (Automated Block Valves) with remote actuators from the panel systems in the control rooms. Our pumps are typically not located that close to any process fluid tanks though, they’re…
Like Tuberculosis. It’s been with humanity for tens of thousands of years and likely killed nearly a fifth of humanity over that time period.
Fuck no, don’t pull it. Leave it out there on the record for all to see. History can judge it, and examples of what not to do can be made with it.
I wonder if the 2021 results will look different.
Ok, thanks, that makes sense. As far as I’m aware we don’t use anything like direct mixers in any of our storage tanks, likely for reasons like this where lack of isolation would lead to us putting far worse stuff than crude oil on the ground.
Doesn’t need to hold one if it IS one.
John Oliver’s going to have a field day with this.
Working in the chemical industry I’m curious why a seal leak would lead to a spill that lasts long enough to be captured on video by air. There should be an isolation valve between the tank and the pump(s), typically a valve on either side of the pump.
And shit like this is how we’ll lose pillows not being counted.

Yeah I don’t answer calls from anything that’s not already entered into my phone. They can leave a voicemail, or send a text with their name and I’ll put them in if needed. Otherwise any call that pops up with an unknown or a number just gets ignored and blocked.
Look Omarosa/Everyone, if you’ve got something then put it out there, otherwise stop with this performative bullshit.
To be fair we’re losing the days where you could actually troubleshoot and fix something in your living room or garage. A lot of these issues are becoming technically challenging and/or software and programming related in terms of fixes, which dramatically limits the options for real troubleshooting outside of RMA.
And nothing of value was lost.
When I was a kid I had a fear of needles, but that wore off somewhere round 8 or 9 for the most part, and I’ve been getting flu shots my whole life. It’s really, really easy and painless.
I fully expect Twitter to unban him and put him back on the airwaves in 2022 for the clicks. Too much money in ad revenue for them to pass up.
Always has been, always will be!
