I get it. A lot of times these days the only way to live without crushing depression and constant existential dread is to decouple yourself from reality and ignore as much of the world as possible.

Dude will take any pain shots and performance medications he’s given by the training staff, likely had all of his immunizations as a child/teen, yet won’t take this one for.... reasons? What a fucking dumbass. Cut him.
I wouldn’t say we’re all screwed, just a significant portion of us. It will end up in a shift of living/habitable locations with more benign climate change impacts, a shift which will favor the already rich and/or privileged. The masses and the poor will suffer, and there will be wars over resources.
“I mean it’s not like Alabama will flip blue or anything”
Yeah, all I see in those eyes is that of a serial killer. Can’t wait to see how dead her eyes look in a year or two.
“The Art of the Deal” followed by the much less well known: “And How to Never Close It”.
You could see his thought process in real time, immediately after the boos he starts soft walking back the statements and regurgitating “your freedoms.” As soon as the booing started, he was already in “love me again pleeeeeease, I’ll go back to telling you only what you want to hear”-mode.
Or they could just film in Nevada and Arizona.
I never have really understood why first class gets seated first. You get put on, sure you’re first to sit down, but it’s not like a flight attendant can get you anything with everyone else filing on, and people standing around next to your seat with bags and kids and all waiting in line to get their spot in coach.
Good call. Shorter trips to visit Montreal, Ottowa, Toronto, etc. as well.
I’ll trade shoveling snow for not having to deal with 95+ degrees and 80% humidity 5 months of the year and dodging Cat 2-5 hurricanes. Not to mention escaping the mind-numbing stupidity of most of the people I’m surrounded by.
Super racist continues being super racist. Let me know when he does something unusual, like show an ounce of sympathy to literally anyone that’s not white.
The benefit though is if you go far enough up north and east the density drops dramatically. Being in Texas, NH is looking pretty good to me for retirement these days.
Failure is the best teacher, let’s just let them self-educate. :)
Not just acquaintances, but family members. It’s crazy growing up thinking my parents and other adults were intelligent, thoughtful people with good common sense, only for the last 5 years to show me just how wrong I was.
Agreed. I love the look of big sidewall on classic muscle cars like my 70 Mustang, but around town here I need all the brakes I can get, and that meant moving up to 16" or 17" wheels. 16" isn’t all that common, considering, so 17" it was.
Jesus, those names. It’s like “How can I suck the dicks of both racist and military-humping demographics at the same time?”
It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.
The main hope I have is that my 8 year old will manage to avoid it until she can get a vaccine. There’s a gigantic population of kids under 12 that can’t currently be vaccinated and now all crammed into schools without mask mandates for delta to race through like wildfire, kill thousands and mutate to something more…
Yeah, The Expanse probably does the best overall job with space and craft that I’ve seen in sci-fi.
