I highly recommend "Into the Wilderness", by Sara Donati, a story of the Bonner family's trials and tribulations in six books - - one of the story lines briefly mention . . . Claire Fraser!

you're trying to start a fight
aw, come on - - you had absolutely no idea that Dany was gonna crisp some dudes whose idea of a good time included as much rape as possible before discarding Dany - - and Dany discarded them, first
OK, OK: all well and good
I love the Outlander books and sometimes can't start a new book until I've re-read the entire series yet another time
OK - - gory with a side order of hilarious?
I tend to think of TWD as a metaphor for our current times and conditions - - as I watched Negan do his thing, exercising his powers of absolute control over his followers as well as the captured, I felt a chilling fear about "what if"
on the talking dead show, it was much discussed about how the actors presented heavy duty emoting that did not make into last nights episode which is too bad because the audience did not get a sense of how deeply all of the captured people felt about their latest predicament
Carol is in the throes of a nervous breakdown and she's so stressed and out of it that she's just plain old, everyday ready for basic relief and she reckons that the basic relief is death by whatever means comes her solitary way

LOL
if you don't care, why are you responding?
Apparently, I am not alone in my assessment that you characterize as 'feelings':

nope
the rapes have legitimate literary purpose in the 18th century Outlander series story lines - - one example is a major character [not Jamie!] who gets raped and the assault has reverberations through the books - - maybe what the non-readers want is vague mention of rape that then contributes to not understanding the…
I'm impressed by people like you who are bi- or multi- lingual, talking and reading in languages that are not native - - kudos!
you are so funny, Ale: I have been engrossed in constant re-reading the books like it's an addiction - - the length never seems long enough and none are 3,000 pages, LOL!
both in the book and cable presentation, Claire uses whatever she can in order to reclaim Jamie - - he was so broken that he wanted to die
