Peanuts tend to have a lot of salt and are high in fat. I guess maybe the thinking is that an entire bag of peanuts would be way to much fat versus like a table spoon of peanut butter. Also maybe a chokeing hazard? But a peanut or two isn’t going to hurt your dog.
