Yeah, he almost certainly knows why he was banned by Twitch. He’s probably playing victim knowing the other party won’t call him out on it unless he opens himself up to further liability, or at least trying to keep himself in the news while making as little as will garner attention.

He doesn’t need to. He’s always a producer. He has final say on the script and the cast and the final cut. It’s way easier to just hire a director, and then tell them what to do.

The only possible answer is because he doesn’t want to. He absolutely has the clout to make it happen, so he either knows his limitations (which seems unlikely), or just would rather not.

The amount of hate she gets almost solely for mentioning that the film press could stand to be a little more diverse than “98% white dudes” is amazing.
