yeah 'attack on the ranch' or whatever the event is called is a lvl 1 story. new guests who don't push the plot forward themselves can have a guide push it for them as we saw in the last episode. Now that teddy isn't around to save her she will be assaulted 100% of the time if she doesn't fight back.

Without Guest interruption, Teddy would save Dolores. Dr. Ford even says that Teddy was created so guests could 'best him and have his way with his woman' the MiB hints at this in an earlier episode about how there has be be losers for there to be a winner, but Dr. Ford pretty much confirms it in this episode.
