This is why I hate Tesla. Their idiotic giant tablet has led the copycat auto industry to fall for the “touchscreens = technology” bullshit. Now we’re reaching a tipping point where it’s nearly impossible to buy a car that doesn’t focus your attention on the giant screens inside, rather than the road outside.

It may have practical advantages but the execution looks ungainly and half-assed to me. Thankfully it’s only optional and not standard. A Volvo Xc90 for example has a huge vertical iPad looking screen as well but it’s much better integrated
