Yes, I have a 2yo and 4yo, I know. I’m doubtful that a carseat is the driving reason to put the center belt there because most luxury cars with a rear center console setup like this tend to not bother with the belt, apparently they’ve decided their demographic won’t care about it. That's why I had to scratch the RS7

But should we be giving Lalas credit?

All of us would.

Good idea, but most modern child seats wouldn’t fit in there between 2 adults unless it was a slim design model designed to go 3 wide. Maybe? But doubtful this was the driving reason.

We didn't. Majority vote was not him. Also nice use of you people.

I’m not a fan of either, but that’s unfair. One can follow racing in its many forms and also not be a prick.

But... did he?

Why the hell would I click on that? My recoil from that link was more intense than an anti-tank rifle.

I can always count on you to write down my first thought before me. That's a compliment. Saves me so much typing.

This is a PR disaster for NASCAR. They’re going to lose at least 1% of their fanbase.

You’re right, my bad for being a bit fried right after the race.

Fair take. I’ll be interested to see if the FIA release the video that supposedly shows Vettel looking in his mirrors and laying off the wheel to drift more right. And even if, I find it hard to believe there was time to make any decision there other than keep racing.

I was a little heated after the race and just wanted to add an addendum that I respect your opinion. In other words, sorry for being a dick, your point of view is reasonable.

I was heated after the race but I respect your opinion. Especially the part about technically Vettel broke the rules even if no fault of his own, and the stewards’ job is to enforce the rules. If so, perhaps we should focus more of our chagrin at the rules rather than the drivers.

Force India rebranded.

...and release the additional video that they used to make the call.

Oh good lord, maybe I found an AMG PR firm account? Let’s try it this way. Do you think the last wheel turn to the right by Vettel was a blocking move?

Wrong. I have no preference. Make your argument or quit with the lazy behind the monitor condescension.

I think you showed your bias with the last sentence. You're wrong, or at least in the minority of actual racing fans. Even all the commentators agreed that the call was BS at the moment, until the call, and after the call.

“Vettel was in the wrong by not immediately ceasing racing when he momentarily went off track.”
