Also, jowl vents lifted from BMW and logo from Aston. But who’s counting?

Sure, but they ripped off the headlights from Volvo and the fender vents from Pep Boys. Never change, Hyundai, it seems to be working.

Jalop friends: Interesting, let’s talk about how this tech works and whether it’s useful.

Yeah suprised about local motors. They must’ve made bank off their tshirt sales alone.

Correction: It had *BMC* Performance filters. Comparable to K&N.

FWIW, I had Blackstone do a silica test on my oil when I bought my M5 that had B&M filters installed (45k mi). The results showed negligible silica content, not anywhere near harmful levels. But... I still switched back to paper filters just because it’s not worth it to me to maintain oiled filters. The car has way

The typo “doll out” reminded me of this oldie but goodie:

Nah, they lost their way much worse in the late 90s.

The 4cyl threw me for a loop too. I had no idea. Seems weird to call it its “normal” engine when it was just introduced this year. To me, the normal F-Type engine is the snarly crackly 5.0L.

[Edit] Nah, not gonna get drawn in to such a stupid comment.

Yeah, but Boring isn’t boring anymore. It hasn’t been taken ober by the Sunnyside suburbannlittle boxes that all look the same sprawl. You can still get a little land in Boring, elbow room and freah air, and be within reasonable driving distance of Portland.

This is the best looking new gen Aston yet. They just nailed it soup to nuts.

Me too, but I think that’s a little optimistic. I shopped E63 wagons pretty hard before giving up and 2014s are still up around $70k for one with reasonable mileage. I expect these to follow roughly the same curve (since it’s roughly the same people stalking them) and the Panamera is starting at what, $30k more?

I can’t get past those awful Pep Boys / Jeep bro headlights.

That... doesn’t sound that impressive? The X5M with driver’s package will do 174 and Range Rover Sport SVR’s specs say 176.

Sure, obviously they’re kerbs at Silverstone. But the race is in Texas. It’s a little silly to spell it kerbs” at CotA, right?

*curbs

This reads like a marketing hyperbole Mad Libs... with steroids injected directly into its veins. Or something.

I’m maybe one of the six then. I need AWD and would’ve bought a V90 if Volvo had brought the T8 version stateside. And I would’ve bought the Jag if they’d put a V8 in it. Still thinking about an E63... a friend just leased one and I'm green with envy.

I guess now we know what engines will be in the next gen Range Rover if the JLR-BMW sourcing rumors are true. Ugh, that BMW twin turbo V8 might be less thirsty than the Ford-sourced 5-liter, but at least the Ford mill is reliable. The BMW motor is a POS.
