Look closely and you can see where some walked ahead to mark the path between poles.

The “box Sprite” was the follow on to the Bugeye. The MG was a re-badge of that. A bigger engine 1098 vs 948cc, an upgraded trans and a “normal” bonnet (sans the cool bug eyes)

Hey! that looks like mine!

Noticed that too - don’t ask how I could tell.

Not too bad. The clutch is light and progressive and the car will pull well from low down so you don’t have to shift so mush. Not enough of a bother to give it up for an auto. Boston area driver.

Try one on. I’m 6'3" (long in the torso)and have a couple of inches with the sunroof and I don’t have the seat all the down. I love the Recaros. The little thing is a total blast.

Thought it looked familiar - Hillman!

Oh, just as well. Now I don’t have to feel conflicted about thinking of trading my FiST in. An RS would be the only thing that could do it.

When the car gets the bottom one of them shouts “We did it!” in American-accented Englis

Great! That was my drivers’ ed car - beige ‘63 Chevy hardtop (yeah, I’m an old fart). Never could park the damn thing. There was *zero* feel in the steering (at any speed) you couldn’t which way the front wheels were pointing.
