I was just freaked to see the Doctor’s little doctor...

His character always breaks my heart. When he’s up in life, something (usually a foolish decision on his part) always brings him down HARD. Beaten and robbed of his casino winnings in the first season and now he’s beaten and robbed of his wrist band trying to help a stranded motorist.

This is a very good movie that deals with a similar subject.

I really like this show. It’s beautifully done and raises a lot of questions about humanity. However, I almost avoid watching it. Like, tonight, I’ll watch the Good Wife before I watch the Leftovers because that heaviness can be too much after a long day.

I know a lot of people don’t like this show, I get that. But I love it. It’s depressing as fuck, which doesn’t help with my depression. But the performances, the subject matter, the small bits of hope, the realness of it just makes the show really powerful.
