I’d rather look for an e39 540i wagon and put a 6 speed since in it, since there weren't any 540i wagon 6 speeds in America. But you can buy a 540iT for probably about 6k and drop a manual in it for an extra few thousand. That e46 has a fair asking price I think but I personally wouldn't buy it.
