I wonder about this all the time, the US has an astronomical murder rate, despite trans women being an infinitesimally small percentage of that population they will also, on occasion, be murdered - sometimes due to their transness and sometimes due to a number of often related but sometimes unrelated variables.

perpetua...as in this will be with him perpetually.

definitely NOT an Aidan.

That too, usually, but this is a pretty complicated concept. What we need is, more or less, a word for when we’re less than thrilled about agreeing with someone. Their being insufferable in their diatribes would be the reason we feel that way... not the feeling itself.

Carrie wanted a walk in closet and Mr. Big gave her one

Bill Clinton becomes President and The X-Files goes on the air. Hillary Clinton leads in the polls and The X-Files comes back on the air.

......just a totally hypothetical scenario.

Don’t worry, Rocco, just wait until you’re 24 and you can lie in bed on a Sunday morning, eating three different types of cake for breakfast and resenting the fucked up relationship with food you have as a result of your mother’s crazy diet restrictions. Or something.

Don’t care. I WILL see it when it comes out. It’s absurdist comedy, and not many people do it anymore.

Exactly. The two main characters are not exactly candidates for Mensa. The joke is how dumb THEY are, not a slam on an androgynous person.

Because Trump is a virulent racist whose rhetoric encourages violence against minorities?

I think that was kind of why she originally responded the way she did. If she did have a policy all cut out of whole cloth, they would have torn it to pieces and accused her of trying to force her own misguided solutions on the community instead of asking what they wanted. It’s the quintessential problem for strong

No, it’s not. It’s a pretty good reply to protesters who won’t let her speak at her own event. What did you expect her to say? “ok, I’ll say and do everything you ask because yours are the only issues that matter”, or to let them take over her event? Other people were there to listen to Hillary, how is it fair to them

I don’t have the right perspective to identify with #blacklivesmatter because I am a white male. If elements of the movement feel the need to protest Clinton and Sanders and feel it will be effective, then keep doing it. (I’m not giving permission either; it’s not mine to give.)

1. 28 year old me should not think that young Sawa is hot but I do. Sorry world.

Sadly, the “PC music” trend is actually gaining mainstream footing. It started as a joke on sites like tumblr and reddit, similarly to vaporwave/~aesthetic~ /witchhouse/seapunk.

Now playing

Ugh no, sorry, I’m sick of all these well connected, marginally talented, British socialite millionaires dominating the media through their nepotistic connections. Seriously, almost every famous British person now is either related to the Queen or related to someone who works at Vogue. I grew up with sooooo many girls

No one is winning right now. They’re just campaigning. I’m a Bernie fan and will vote for him in the primary. I hope I’ll get to vote for him in the general election. But if Hillary does win the primary, for the sake of all that is decent in this country, we need to support her. There is not one single republican

It’s just that any time I say anything positive about Clinton, even though I might say 2 positive things about Sanders, I get bombed with comments by rabid Sanders supporters. They get ugly sometimes and I have to dismiss them. I almost feel like I can’t comment on a “The Slot” post without having to deal with

“In the video, a man pulls Rojas to the ground and kicks him, during the attack a group chants “U.S.A,” rather than intervening. The whole scene is deeply disturbing”
