Nice. But don’t expect the same courtesy.

I didn’t star your comment. You’re welcome
Yes, but no #9 seed had ever beaten a #16 seed. I was relying on that history when I bet my whole savings account...
Everybody connected with the team and the school should be proud.
Got caught looking ahead to the next round.
Not surprised at this. A #16 seed has never beaten a #9 in NCAA tournament play.
UMBC played great tonight, but the exhaustion showed. Their play makers who seemed to score with East Friday night were coming up short. They managed to stay in the game and play great defense, but just couldn’t muster the energy to keep up the offense.
There seemed to be a lot of “serious basketball people” on Twitter really pleased to see UMBC get “exposed.” It must be strange to hate fun.
It always ends in a loss. But for the previous 135 16-seeds in the 64-team era of the NCAA men’s basketball…
Am I the only one who kinda feels like Michigan State just wasn’t very good this year? I know, I know, they only lost four games. But they basically beat two good teams all year (Carolina on a neutral floor in December and Purdue at home in February) and their best road victory, according to KenPom, was against…
Don’t worry. Nobody will remember. This is Virginia’s year.
At long last (again), the rest of the nation will be made to pronounce the name of our state correctly.
Just two days after Nevada’s Caleb Martin lost his damn mind in overtime to beat Texas, teammate Josh Hall floated a…
My grampa drinks his coffee black but always asks for the little dish of creamer cartridges anyway, because he tosses them back like they’re vodka shots. He made sure to teach us as soon as we were old enough to not spill it.
My grandpa wore tan short sleeved jumpsuits, with his initials embroidered on the tit (his words), exclusively. He would also drive his OG old man scooter (this was the 60s) in the breakdown lane on the freeway because it was quicker than taking side roads.
One of my grandpas died way before I was born. The other died when I was three. Total rip off.
My grandpa owned his own business. Every day he shut it down for an hour so he could watch Sesame Street over lunch in the breakroom. He made everyone who worked for him (about a dozen people) join him. You had to have a pretty good excuse to not watch Sesame Street with him.
Both my grandpas had very interesting eating habits.
My grandpa eats cigars. Chews them from the nub until they slowly go away. Never lights the ends, just eats them. He’s been doing this as long as I have known him and has shown no ill effects.
My grandpa wore short sleeved, blue, coveralls 95% of the time. The 5% was wearing a suit to church.
