How could you write this and not even mention Speechless, which seems to have mostly achieved what this show doesn't (despite the different content)? It's extremely relevant to this review and weirdly doesn't even get a mention.

You just wrote the first episode!
This show is straight up bonkers. I binged it one day on Netflix while cleaning. It is like an acid trip, I can't imagine what writing for it is like. It's definitely entertaining.
Vampires?
And of course, the corollary: what's an "irregular" woman? We've entered into nonsense territory, everyone. Be careful.
They are super selfish and mostly take no responsibility for their actions. Lots of "ugh." These people are 20 years out of college?
I wouldn't say it sucks. But a lot of the story is about the affair, not so much the friendships, which is disappointing.
Oh my god, seriously. Use public transportation and you'll be ready to send everyone back to learning how to stand in a line! And that's just a stupid everyday example. Now give people power, money, control over others and often, rewards for doing shitty things.
I can't speak to whether it's true or not, but there have been rumors around him for years: http://gawker.com/fred-armi…
And why do you think the media is under any obligation to make news coverage "balanced"? (Also, can I ask, balanced between what and what? I haven't seen you say but would be interested to know) For one thing, they are private organizations. If you agree that the criticism is often fair, you're saying you want them…
Second! Hulu kept recommending it to me so I finally watched and it's pretty great. I hope it comes back for a 2nd season.
Wow, that is.. obsidian. "Dark" was too light of a descriptor.
I'd watch that one.
I wish this had gone the tiniest bit deeper. "The graphical update is, in the end, just something new to hate on Twitter" is silly given the embedded tweets. The graphical update is a pretty anti-user move, considering the years of requests and issues, and the fact that at the beginning of this year, they "committed"…
Clearly, neither of them are going anywhere. I used to like Alex and Haley and now just want them to not be in every episode, living in their parents house, not having anything to do.. ever. The show seems to be fumbling this next step.
I would watch this.
I'm about 10 minutes into an episode (first? second? no idea) and I am already tired of the mom. I didn't realize that was the entire hook, I was actually hoping, "I hope we get past this mom stuff soon." I'll check back in later in the season to see if it gets amazing
I recently moved from Denver to NYC for work and I don't know if everyone here actually believes places like Kansas City and Denver exist. But can confirm the incredible apartment amenities.
Same. I am so happy it's being made but honestly, I would like everyone else to watch it, please. I feel like it's going to stress me out a lot, especially if it's so well-made and acted!
All she did was take off her glasses! I loved the movie because who doesn't love watching superrich teens party and have drama, but come on.
