I usually just cut the broccoli lengthwise for roasting so each piece has a long stem with some floret on top.  They end up looking sort of like broccolini, but without as much skin so not as tough.

the Judeo-Christian god at it again. With one hand he gives, with the other he takes away.

Do you neeed to shell them first?

I probably should have clarified, I have no hate towards milk alternatives! That meme just lives rent free in my head.

This should be more of a “it depends” recommendation other than a “never do it” recommendation. It depends on how your oven is constructed.

I love it.

And then you try to scrape the last bits of cheese off and you get a thin layer of paper but the ratio is mostly cheese so you eat it anyway.

Great suggestion!

Strongly recommend Jigsaw Explorer (https://www.jigsawexplorer.com/). In the last 18 ,months we had many jigsaw ‘parties’ with friends, family members and even members of a Shakespeare Club that had gone virtual. Note the number of outlets in each room and whether they’re placed in a way that doesn’t make it super annoying to plug in all your electronics. And whether any of them are linked to the light switch in the room.

I have a drawer full of SAVOURY and SWEET wooden spoons. Anyone who dares cook in my kitchen knows to ask which ones you can safely use to make a dessert with.

Yes!  And you can make a wooden cross with your garlic spoon and a non-garlic spoon.  Double protection!  But honestly, just don’t invite them into your house.

Yeah and I think A LOT of parents are about to get a rude wake-up call to this. For the past 18 months, everyone was in the same boat. Schools were closed, childcare was closed, kids were learning from home...companies were very understanding. They won’t be in the near future.
