Anyway, like I was sayin’, cicada is the fruit of the land. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey’s uh, cicada-kabobs, cicada creole, cicada gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There’s pineapple cicada, lemon cicada, coconut cicada, pepper cicada, cicada soup, cicada stew, cicada salad,…

Vegetable cream cheese on a vegetable bagel was my favorite Treat Yo’ Self meal. I’d get that with a Snapple Ice Tea and a bag of chips from my favorite bagel place, sit in a park and enjoy the whole experience.

Last summer I put window treatments on my living room and bedroom windows since the sun shines in both from 2pm till sunset. Just stuck them on and don’t have to run my AC on days where the temp stays below 75, my tower fan does the job.
