I take out $100-$160 dollars (depending on if I need gas, buying clothes, going out with friends) on Saturday. Then I’ll get gas, groceries and then head home. I’m lucky that $20 fills my gas tank but I still forget to track it most months. I’ll start writing that down on my grocery receipt! I put all change into jars…

Once a month I go to a Beer and Boardgames. After spending 30 bucks for beer and food, I figured I could cut that in half by getting getting 4 samples instead. 

This is why I still use cash first. It’s easier to cap spending when it’s for you. Grocery shopping is easy cause I make a list and have an idea of how much cash I’m going to need for the items on it. I need coffee, that’s an extra $15 from the ATM.

I call it my Fun Fund, and set the cap depending on other expenses. It’s for a meal out, buying a movie or album, hanging out with friends.

The vampire movie with Chloe was ‘Let Me In’ the American version of ‘Let The Right One In’. LMI wasn’t as good as LTRONI, but the cast was great.

Let The Right One In is so beautifully shot that you don’t need dialog or subtitles.
