The window in my apartment’s living room is 7' W x 2' H with a metal frame, and the sun shines through from 2pm till sunset. I have turned the AC on at 7am on a weekend and by 4pm I’m uncomfortably warm. Thankfully eating frozen fruit helps to keep me cool.
