It was the PSP remake. Looks terrific I think (much, much better than the Nintendo 64-style DS remake). Don't know how it compares difficulty-wise.

Hooray! WAYPTW is finally back.
Allow me to tell you aaaall about the gaming I've been doing during the holidays:
I guess they listened to people's complaints (re: the pricing model). There are a lot of good games on that list. $20 seems reasonable. You would probably burn through the ones you're interested in pretty fast and then cancel, though.
Yup, Edith brings it up when Robert disapproves of her engagement to the one-armed old guy.
I think season 3, 4 and 5 were all decent, neither reaching the heights of season 1 nor the lows of season 2. I, too, wish they would do more of the smaller, shorter stories since they're clearly struggling to come up with dramatic, high stakes plots for some of the characters (the Bates oh my God just catapult them…
the ability to have one person play with the full tv screen and the other can use the gamepad
Here it is, I guess there should be a "join"-button somewhere: http://steamcommunity.com/g…
Aye, the Old World. Frankly I'm just happy we're getting it at all. Although I did feel a little like I was missing out on an event a few weeks ago when Kotaku was going nuts over it.
I was really stoked to finally play Suikoden II, but it's not out here until next month. So to scratch the JRPG-itch i picked up the PSP remake of FFIV. For some reason I never played it before, I guess I was thinking of everything before FFVI as "too old" (I did play the DS remake of FFIII and was not very…
Who's Conley? Some infamous A.V. Club troll?
The walled-off battles kind of reminded me of random encounters, it diminished my enjoyment a little bit. Still a very good game though.
I think they're talking about this:
Legolas: "I don't know what to do now"
Elf king: "There's this fellow up north you should get acquainted with, named Strider"
Legolas: "Ok"
*FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING THEME MUSIC PLAYS*
You can "play" through this web app that guides you through the two first games, apparently you can make decisions and stuff that will carry over to your new game. https://dragonagekeep.com/
Or when you start reading a review that seems totally reasonable and then veers into "… I just don't understand why there had to be so much cussing!".
Yup. I enjoyed reading it and everything, but it really undid that sense I had that this was a different fantasy series. It was as if a Song of Fire and Ice were to end with everybody getting married and having babies à la the Harry Potter epilogue.
I stumbled upon this (http://observationdeck.io9…. defence of the Phantom Menace recently and I found it rather persuasive. Kind of want to watch it again now, just to check whether I mindlessly jumped on the Internet hate-bandwagon.
Aww, you edited it to be less mean.
I, Claudius is one of the best books I've ever read, well written and just such a thrilling plot. And it's true! …well, maybe (I doubt Livia was really behind it all, but the general gist of the cripple whom everyone overlooked rising to power is true). The only thing I find a little silly is the "framing device" of…
I'm playing Arkham Asylum, which was free on PS+ a while back. I tend to avoid gritty, violent games but this is pretty fun! And it has nothing to do with those drab Cristopher Nolan movies as I previously thought.
