You seem like a very angry person. Yes, you deserve to take a jab at the writer for missing something but this level of vitriol is uncalled for. Yet your analysis is sound, especially the "not getting distracted part". So, thanks for the contribution, I guess

Oh yeah! Thanks.

Surprised the reviewer lifted that possibility as well… I read that scene as Vee definitely being gone.

Did I forget some meaningful interaction between ms Rosa and Vee? Because the only thing I could remember was when Vee was trying to suck up to her with a copy of the Fault in Our Stars and ms Rosa was like "meh, no thanks".

I'm bringing Bravely Default on my countryside vacation. Though I'm less excited to finally play it than I was, I feel like there's been a backlash against it in the last few months.

I just rushed through the ending of FFX HD because I was so stoked to play Shovel Knight, only to find that it's not out where I live. So now I guess I will just be sitting around rolling my thumbs.

The battles are what keeps it from being one of the very best games ever in my book. Everything else – the script (eminently translated), the world-building, the attention to details – is top notch.

I think it's just one of those games that were widely beloved upon release, but have received a major backlash since. The smallness of the world and the absurd hand holding are legitimate gripes, but most of the people I hear (online) expressing their dislike of the game describe the controls as "completely broken",

Yeah, I know history has deemed Wind Waker superior to Twilight Princess (and I agree that it's better looking) but gameplay-wise it really isn't all that. I mean how many times are you excited to explore a new island, only to be dropped into a hole to fight the ever-same set of enemies; first the little goblins that

Ouch, that "boomerang – neat!" bit hits close to home…

Yay, a SATC-reference!

I had a great time at the movies last night, but the ending really bothered me.

He did seem too good to be true. I half expected some kind of twist, like he picked up chicks at cancer support groups all over town or something (sort of an analogy to the mysterious step father in the novel) but no.

I don't know that it's a technical issue – I thought they just promised never to release those ambassador games (a lot of the really good ones) to the general public?

I would turn down the difficulty and try to get through it. There are some major moments in both MSG2 and MSG4 that will be …robbed of their poignancy if you haven't experienced the first game.

I am aware of the fan theories, it's just that I kind of got the impression that Nintendo picked it up and ran with it, rather than that they have been working from this timeline since the beginning. But you're right, Wind waker is clearly connected to Ocarina.

Both of you are missing out big time!

Yes. I've always thought of Zelda games as different retellings of the same story. Also they clearly just pulled that timeline out of their asses well after the fact.

I dream about that kind of game too! Although I think I should like some kind of mission, like "find 100 golden eggs" or "catalog every species". But mostly it would just be about the exploration. How many times have boring gunfights and the like ruined my appreciation of a beautiful space?

Would you care to elaborate?
