I liked The Royal Tenenbaums, which was the first movie of his that I saw, and to a lesser extent The Life Aquatic and Fantastic Mr. Fox but mostly because of the eye candy factor.

I think Short cuts has generally come to be viewed as "the rich mans" Magnolia (same with The Ice Storm vs. American Beauty)

Echoing everyone's sentiments about Up: the plot after act one is just all over the place - I couldn't even summarize it if I tried (which I certainly could for all the other Pixar films - except Cars, which I, like Lisa Simpson, have not seen). Super evil world war I-guy is trying to prove the existence of these

Are you talking about CARDS, starring Eddie Murphy as the jack of hearts? Because that was hilarious.

Is it any wonder writers seem to hate writing clip shows as much as we hate watching them? […] Fox understandably wanted as much Simpsons content as possible at the height of the show’s popularity and didn’t particularly care if that content was new, old, or some combination of the two.

Yeah, rich celebrity offspring is probably not a great source of comedic talent. Or, as Chris Rock (I think?) complained on the Daily Show the other night: "My kids are rich. We've got nothing in common."

Ok, I'm going to go slighty OT here and please be gentle if I'm a huge idiot but I don't… get blind items? Is the point that the "publication" in question won't name names for fear of getting sued, but if you read the comments they always sort everything out? Because otherwise it's just completely boring, ooh an actor
