The fall out between Rory and Loralie was great (except when they ruined Sookie's kid's baptism by being self-involved assholes). Love the Godfather-reminiscent scene where we see Rory assume her place in the DAR instead of… doing something cutesy with Loralie that they had planned forever, i forget what.

The cut to "We were 16! We didn't want to get married!" is golden.

That was soooo contrived. We can only assume that April's mom is some kind of overprotective psycho.

Alison Pill is cute as a button. Literally, her face looks like a button.

Jim seems pretty much like the perfect male specimen, whereas Maggie is a fumbling child (and why is she dressed like Chloe Sevigny's character on Big Love?). I find it kind of hard to believe that he would be pining after her, and her relationship with Don is equally unrealistic.

Mind. Blown.

Yeah tampering with someone's food like that feels like a violation to me.

Oh April, the root of all evil - starting with the incredibly Sunset Beach-esqe trope of:
"Lorelai, I have to tell you something"
"No,I have to tell you something - isn't everything super perfect? I hope nothing changes ever. What were you going to say?"
"Oh… nothing."
*Months pass until she finds out in an inappropriate
