Depending on the stats you’re looking at, the top 20% pay upwards of 84% of income taxes, while earning 51% of income- so they’re definitely overpaying. The bottom 80% are making about 49% of income, yet only pay 16% of taxes. What’s fair?

I love this stat- everytime I hear how the rich should pay their fair share, I like to point out they already pay almost 70% of all income taxes. What should they be paying?

It’s a “model” home. They usually put a sales office in the garage, finished out, and the big garage door is so the exterior looks like it’s supposed to. Once the subdivision has sold out they’ll convert the office back into a garage and pour a driveway so they can sell the model, too.
