Have you never tapped a brass fitting into a plastic radiator housing before? I’ve done this plenty as a quick fix and they almost always eventually fail. Plastic is pretty shit at holding threads, especially with a fitting with different expansion properties... let alone the likelihood of simply cracking.

It cracked

I should have been more clear. The brass and the plastic that it is tapped into will contract and expand at different rates and create a fail point. It’s a pretty common fail point on many plastic radiators.

I am surprised how many people on a car blog have never wrenched on their own cars before.

a panda?

And then everyone clapped.

Let’s not conflate coincidence with causality. Did you compare prices for the same journeys pre-pandemic? Many rental companies charge wildly more when you pick up in an expensive city, because of taxes, rent on the pickup location, registration fees, and average income of the location.

If you are seeing prices way over value, then you are looking at a product that is ripe for genuine discounting that will move it faster, easier, and with better overall satisfaction for all involved. For example, if you list a house for $500K and only expect it to sell for $200K, you really are not going to see many

The Southern Poverty Law Center and FBI disagree with your statement. Hate crimes against American Jews has shot up in recent years, while thankfully anti-Muslim hate crimes have gone down.

It would appear that even a whiff of proximity to the Nation of Islam is politically toxic, for even the most savvy media moguls, such as Cannon. I, personally, cannot fathom being in a room, much less a sane conversation with Farrakhan, but if that is Nick Cannon’s cup of tea...well pour him a glass, henny.

If we’re going to clean house, we have to sweep the corners too.

This comment was oversimplified fake news.

Yeah, he's a real idiot. Friends of mine followed his hard-line advice to the t for 6 years and paid off every penny of debt including their house.

Listen to Dave Ramsey a bit. Sure, you can pick apart his advice and find examples where his advice may not be the best. What you will find when you listen to him for awhile is that people call over-and-over who have financed shitty cars (like horrible Fiat/Chrysler products) that have worn out or broken down long

How about “Feds File Charges in Case with over 1,000 Key Fobs stolen from a Train Shipment”

Yeah, your opinion might not be too popular around here but honestly, Tracy’s next door neighbors have good reason to be fed up with that crap. Having a stash of 10+ cars that look like they should be in the junk yard is something you can do when you live out in the sticks where no one cares what your driveway looks

Good for them. I’d hate to live next to a junkyard too.

I know multiple owners of the G35/G37 and every one of them kept it 6+ years, one had it for 11 years I think. They were a hell of a car for the price, and hit so many nails on the head. The Q50 began its decline when it became too ‘soft’.

All the G35/G37's around here are slammed and stanced and piped and driven by backwards flat-brimmed wearing bro douches

I’ve never bought a rental, but every time I’ve bought a car I’ve gone into it with the mindset that I’m going to keep it until it’s no longer mechanically sound. So by the time I’m ready to get rid of a car, I’m not expecting much for sale/trade-in. But if you’re someone who likes to switch it up every few years,

2020; The year things got worse before it got better.

“This will all probably get worse before it gets better.”
