I am stunned by the amount of open-cockpit vehicles produced by the UK, one of the rainiest places in the Northern hemisphere.

Oh, I love this. I like the sequential signals on Mustangs, this just... Audifies it. I also appreciate knowing in advance the "breakthrough" technology to expect on every car in 2016.

Wait, what? How can you even CALL it a road trip if you're not headed up Highway 1 through Big Sur? The 101 between Paso and Salinas is beyond snooze-worthy!

I think one of the most basic prerequisites for a car is that it must be able to get you from point A to point B in relative safety. While the Reliant Robin does get points for high degree of difficulty in driving, it did not accomplish this most basic tenet of the commuter car.

I am so glad that they used to make nice looking cars because the latest generation is totally riding on their coattails. I want to like them but I just can't. They're even worse in person.

There's one in my neighborhood as well. I was surprised because most of my neighbors are minivan and Camry types. It really classes the place up!

I let my fingers do some walking last night and while I really like them, I am not up for a $580/mo payment. I would be spending more on the payment then I would be saving in not having to fill up.

Window tint. In hot places like Arizona, this can make all the difference in the world as to the comfort of your drive home.

I don't think radio is going anywhere. The media players that go along with it however seem to change every 5 years or so. I'm a big fan of just installing a USB port under the power button, let us supply our entertainment after that.

Does the driver count as a technology that is going the way of the dodo?

My husband comes with me because I value his opinion. But like I've said many times, if I'm the one buying the car, and it is obvious that I am the primary purshaser, and the salesperson automatically introduces themselves to him first, I walk.

I agree, that looked like way more rain than they usually race in. I am not wholly surprised though, motorcycle racers are used to taking more risk than their counterparts in cages. It goes with the sport. That being said, motorcycling has lost too many people in the last couple of years and I am sure this loss will

Yes, it's very common. It takes a lot of rain to cancel a motorcycle race.

Were I to join the US Navy, I'd want the keys to one of these:

I use the FREE Mapquest app with my iPhone because it gives spoken directions just like a dedicated satnav device. It has yet to lead me astray.

It's well-known that sportbikes have phenomenal braking. Rubber contact patch on a 3500 lb car has nothing on that Triumph's 400 lb wet weight and gigantic brakes.
