Atlanta and Detroit both paid out of their own damn pockets to replace perfectly functioning arenas, but at least (not saying much!) Detroit effectively replaced two arenas with one and brought a team (that nobody seems to very much care about) back in to the city, so Atlanta ‘wins’ here.
