A Girl In Brooklyn

I read this ONLY to see if it included Lloyd Dobler. His absence destroys all credibility.

Now we are talking - who was the best boyfriend in St Elmo's Fire ?

There is a real lack of sense of history here, from only going back to the 50s to talk about the lifespan of romantic comedies (AT LEAST as far back as It Happened One Night in the 30s, arguably farther) to glossing over 80s films, to under-rating 90s film guys.

Is...Judd Nelson technically a boyfriend? They didn’t even really go on a date.

Eric Stoltz does not get the dreamboat credit he deserves.

I recently rewatched  dirty dancing (my sister and I used to have it on repeat when I was in middle school) and I was like AHH WHEN DID THIS MOVIE GET SO HOT?! I mean, I always knew it was hot... but evidently I still had some growing up to do.

No Eric Stoltz was an ass because she refused to live up to his expectations during his perfect date.

I mean seriously, leaving Lloyd Dobler out is practically criminal. Johnny Castle, too.

Lloyd Dobler: One question. Do you need someone or do you need me? I don’t care.

Word. I think I may have aged out of Jezebel if Lloyd Dobler isn’t on this list. Absolutely #1.

I WAS WAITING FOR JOHN CUSACK! That list was entirely too short and misguided

i completely agree! i remember back in 1988 and seeing this video and just wishing i could get my hair as big as hers. I still wear my hair like i am Kip Winger (although i’m a girl). I love big, crazy, wavy, curly hair.

Youngin’ it was the 80s, and it was glorious.

I’m curious to see a study of how hair loss trends with people of other generations vs those who survived 80s hair trends

BUT THE WEAVE THOUGH. IT’S A DIFFERENT COLOR. WHY.

Do you know, as outrageous as some of the looks were in those days, it really was the best.

It was the 80s. We did all kinds of crazy things with our hair in those days. Crimping in particular was a thing.

it’s called the 80's. And it was the bestest time for hair.  :)

Sorry, that could have been clearer. Small Frostys are 50 cents but I used medium Frostys because I was unaware of the promotion and like wasting company money, I guess.
