Thanks for the insight. Even though I’m not much of a soccer/football fan, I do find the way the leagues are run (eg, promotion/relegation, transfer fees, etc.) pretty fascinating since they are so different to American sports. In regards to your last question, players in US sports have no say when they are traded to

love the Tom Tomsk shoutout lmao

There is literally nothing exceptional about this play, other than the size of 11s brain fade in handing the ball to an opponent.

When I was stationed in Japan I made friends in the Tokyo expat community. All lot of them were Aussies and Kiwis so I saw both codes of Rugby. You know how people bitch that soccer is boring and slow moving? I felt that way about Union. League is a better product to watch on TV. But then again this is the opinion of

All well and good while the oil money flows, sure, but is it sustainable beyond that? I personally suspect no: you and the other expats will go home, the desert will creep back in, the zanily-shaped islands will erode back below the waves. Of course, I’ve been predicting doom for Vegas (and the NFL) for decades now,

The problem is that once word gets out that an agent has dumped a client, he or she is gonna be bombarded by the media trying to figure out why. By releasing this statement it will hopefully cut down on some of the media trying to figure out the why. This statement won’t stop everyone from trying to talk to the agent,

Don’t you dare drop that strap-on question! We need to get this out in the open!

I have so many questions. Chief amongst them was “Who eats that many wings?” I clicked the link and it turns out that Molly did not look at all like you would have thought a person who can eat 400+ wings in one sitting would look like. Then I read the article:

Seriously, I’d bet that the agent had some hand in him checking into rehab first time around. And probably has encouraged him to do so again. Why let yourself be pulled down by someone who won’t admit that they’re their own worst enemy?

Yeah, once Donestk fired back at LFC & the world with that €50 million valuation I said “nope”. Nothing against Teixeira personally, but even by mid-January the Top 4 looked borderline out of reach (let alone now), and that’s an expensive punt on a player who at best maybe takes you over the hump in the Euros.

I get the feeling that some rich Chinese men just found a new way to launder money.

No, but I see 48 mens sporting events (the horses are male too) out of 50.

Stop blaming marketing for the failure of a sport. Such BS. Either ppl wnt to see you play or they don’t. Not everything in life is equal. Especially sports, which are ENTERTANMENT! Stop acting like the sports viewing public is unaware of womens sports. People vote with their eyes and wallets. They’ve voted. Its 2016,

Sad but true.

If biology makes no difference. Why do we have seperate mens and womens teams? Do you want to combine them, since there is no physiological or biological difference? How many women would start for a combined USM/WNT? There...equality!

Incorrect. The men and women’s team receive the same pay. The bonus paid by FIFA to US Soccer is different, but that’s because FIFA makes a shit ton of cash from the World Cup, while they barely break even on the Women’s World Cup. US Soccer can’t change the FIFA bonuses for winning the women’s world cup.

Sigh.

I thought the terms they are fighting for are equal field conditions. The biggest issue the women’s team keeps battling is the fields are so substandard relative to the men’s that they are getting injured easily and often.

Uh no, I’ve never heard of teams resting players IN THE GROUP STAGE OF THE WORLD CUP

You’re talking about two different sports. That’s like saying the ocean is good for surfing and playing water polo.
