Yes, they do. People aren’t in a rush to hand over their season ticket to a complete stranger, however. I’m talking Liverpool only here by the way, the conditions surrounding tickets may be different with the club you say you’ve been to. Which club is it?

How do you figure it will be one of the top leagues in the next 23 years?

You’re absolutely right. English fans always refer to the German system when discussing ticket prices.

That is bullshit then. I can’t excuse that....

.... I’m not actually sure that I want to be awake....

Football is an odd case; the tribal nature of it and male-centric history of it is at odds with the pro-family, consumer-based model that clubs are trying to achieve. The facilities at football stadiums in the UK will probably shock you, and even new, modern stadiums like Arsenal’s Emirates still pales in comparison

No worries! :) Drop us a line (if that’s possible on here) if it comes to fruition and I’ll see i can help with anything more specific.

So you've identified that it's difficult and that it's likely to be expensive. I've not said anything that goes against that. There are not plenty of tickets available for liverpool league games; yes, some people will offer their tickets on forums and Twitter, but a good proportion of people know this also and there's

It's not as easy to track down a ticket and buy it (for Liverpool) than you may think.

I understand that, my point is that it’s not a first come, first served scenario. You’ll often be prohibited from buying tickets unless you’ve accrued enough points by going to previous away games.... that you’ve been unable to attend due to needing the required amount of points.

You’ll definitely get tickets for league cup, FA Cup and Europa League if they’re lower league teams that are being played (or non-big guns in Europa). I’ve seen the Carlisle this season and 5 of us got tickets no problem. In the past, I’ve never struggled for those types of games.

A lot of clubs prevent their tickets being sold on sites such as Stub-Hub to avoid scalping, and Liverpool is one such club. The only way you’ll get a Premier League ticket (for Liverpool) is being lucky enough to get one of the 200 or so tickets that go on mandatory General Sale (and sell out within a nano-second),

.... and your point is? People aren’t happy with the “regular” price as it is; this is an issue that’s as old as the hills and various clubs’ supporters whinge to various degrees... it isn’t just Liverpool.

You may have a different view of what some stadiums are like over here though. Anfield is old and doesn’t have much in the way of facilities... a few places you can buy something to eat and buy the programmes. Due to England’s history with hooligans, you can’t drink beer in the stands, so you can either buy a beer in

I understand your points, but where you are now is sub-Mexico standard. As I’ve said before, it’s all about what you want the league to be. If you’re happy with the quality that it is now, and don’t want much more, then continue on that path.... but fundamental changes would be needed to become a true player in global

FFP isn’t a cap though, it’s a measure to try and prevent football clubs going into administration. It is essentially “don’t spend more than you earn”, but seeing as Manchester United earn umpteen times more than some other clubs.... Sunderland.... then it’s pointless if the point was to cap. England doesn’t agree

Yes, it would over time. But as you say, it’s impossible. Can you even imagine the fucking ballache of working out what the actual cap is on any given day across sterling, dollars, euros, rupees, bolivars, yen, dong, ....
Not to mention it’d probably be illegal in a good few countries

Of course it’s not an easy run, but I was simply saying all three are easier (or should be) than today’s game. Those three teams will fear Leicester more than Leicester fear them and I’m confident they’d get at least 5 points out of that run.

The nature of demand and ticket buying here means they had booked and paid for those tickets long before the announcement.

That’s going to be the highest price for non-corporate seats in the new stand. It isn’t all of the tickets.
