Before the balloons would pop they would serve as giant cushions for the crowd you would inevitably hit :P

This is FoxTrotAlpha. Not Jalopnik.

What video? ;)

I would much rather see infrared lasers aimed at the tires but I feel we are both after the same goal.

Counter counter-point: Cutest turn signal ever.

And not only that, it requires a lot of elbow grease to be purchased.

Okay, well you’re right and I knew when I said that I would be taking a chance on it.

Actually there is and I’ll try my best to explain. There is a physical connection, akin to muscle memory, that everyone has become accustomed to when beginning to drive a vehicle. That is, physically shifting from Park into Drive or Reverse. With this selector, that is now gone. In order to shift into Reverse required

The car shifts into park by pressing the “P” button on the back of the gear shift. You can clearly see it by enlarging the image. It does not shift into Park. Park just becomes ‘Enabled’

According to the service manager I talk with, there is now a law that prevents automakers from using screens that raise and lower from the dash. It is because  they are not safe in the event an accident occurs potentially breaking loose the screen from its attachment point.

Umm, I don’t think you realize that this is a completely different interior than what you just described. The gear selector certainly does not move. It’s completely digital. It moves up/down like directional pad operates on a console controller. The directional pad stays put, do does the gear shift. The interior is

I had the opportunity to drive an A4 car with this exact interior and it’s so ugly that you feel uncomfortable once you sit in it. The look and feel of the interior has been completely ruined and as far as any sporty elements, they are non existent.

Just looking at that picture, you can see that the cup holders

I have a Start/Stop button in my Audi. If I press this button with the brake pedal depressed, the car’s engine starts. If I press this button without the brake pedal being depressed, this is when I see the dash lights light up.

I checked my car yesterday and I noticed that certain dash lights turn on and then go off after a second or 2, but then what I believe is the CEL stays on. I will have to check again and reply with the exact lights that stay on. I guess if the lights were to all go on and then off, it would make more sense to me.

No, it just tells those who oppose him that he’s an amazing actor when he wants to be and can read from a teleprompter.

It’s good!!!!

Definitely a Crack Pipe deal - Would not buy.

Wow, I did not think it would be there as a test/confirmation of the indicator dash lights. That’s really interesting. Thanks!

I would like to know why a lot of cars when in accessory mode (Engine off, Key turned to Accessories, just before “Run”) have all kinds of indicators on the dash that light up when in this mode. Even my Audi’s equivalent CEL is lit up. I find it pointless, very annoying, and could just cause the driver to worry.

HOLY HELL! Talk about an uncomfortable and shitty situation.
