That's a really good question and an interesting debate. Unfortunately I'm not a regular MLS watcher, so it'd be hard to compare both properly.
I would say on star power, Ligue 1 is still stronger overall. Teams like Marseille, Lyon, Lille would be top MLS sides. Lens and Saint-Etienne have Seattle type supports, and…
