He’s a spectacular player. I don’t find him particularly funny on social media or whatever, but like I said: I get why people like him. Someone in another comment called him a troll, and I think that’s accurate, but I’ve never been much for trolls.

Embiid seems to generally have much more fun with other players that Garnett did. I haven’t heard stories of Embiid getting personal or playing that fake tough guy routine. Embiid is just an amazingly talented troll. I (so far) find him entertaining.
If your sister, brother, mother, or father died tragically and unexpectedly would you be able to work the next day? In front of god and everyone in the playoffs? I’m not a Thomas fan, but come on dude.
I don’t think this counts towards the Warriors standard of, “Getting shitty dudes a ring,” since he already was that dude before.
They don’t gotta do this. Harden is now, by all accounts, Fine defensively. No, he’s not All-Defense caliber or anything, but he’s not actively sabotaging you on that end, mostly because he tries more and, as the article says, the Houston defensive system is designed to mitigate his Meh-ness.
He only plays offense!
Harden likes to give back to the community by playing concentration card games with Alzheimer’s patients.
he’s having a worse week than James Ingram, who died
He’s just trying to slap an Oakland Raiders sticker down there
I literally thought you were being hyperbolic when you said Harden went for 61. Nope...that’s real
I know Jake Delhomme didn’t play for the Cardinals, but spiritually, I really feel like we should add him to this list.
So Djokovic and Nadal are gonna be in the final, ESPN wins!
This team began the drain when they appointed JB after they fired Fizdale way too early.
Bummer for Berkman; not that I thought he should go in but I liked him as a player and wanted a little better of a showing for him.
Compare Romo’s observations to Troy Aikman’s and it’s just night and day.
If he’s such a great prognosticator, then why didn’t he open the broadcast with, “Everybody should just go to bed right now, because in a few hours you will all want to kill yourselves.”
I think it was that throw to Gronk down the sideline where he noted, “If the safety steps up, he’s going to Gronk one-on-one.” I immediately was staring at that safety, saw him step up, and I was like, “Here it comes.”
Bob Sutton better be getting shitcanned right now.
They missed a facemask on Goff on the previous drive. Refs giveth and whatnot.
This and Federer losing made my day-evening-whatever the hell you call it when you’re watching live sports from a different continent on a different day than it is on the continent you’re watching it on.
