This is where the short rotation came back to bite the Rockets in the ass even though they really had no choice but to play 7 players. It’s hard to make those shots with tired legs. Still, going 0-27 is inexplicable. Usually, a few of those would still fall thanks to a fortunate bounce. It’s really just extremely

3 missed obvious fouls on Harden 3s, missed call on a Gordon drive where he was fouled by two players and a blatant offensive foul that wasn’t called on Bell right before a Curry corner 3. That’s a potential 12 point swing in a game decided by 9 points. I don’t think this shit is rigged but those missed calls did

The Warriors lucked their way back to the finals, tbh

There was a Tucker corner 3 in the 4th, but this is why it’s so annoying when people say the refs made no difference. Or point out that the Rockets shot more free throws without thinking critically plus forgetting that the Warriors hacked Capela several times. Those missed calls added to the Warriors momentum and imo

“Clearly the jack-up-a-million-threes-in -iso-strategy, while not only being unbearable to watch, is not capable of beating this Warriors team in its current incarnation.”

All legit fouls

The Warriors hacked Capela several times and there’s no rule saying teams have to have the same ft attempts. There were several missed calls in the 3rd that led to points for the Warriors. That’s a huge swing and the difference in the game

Yeah, the Rockets missed tons of shots and they had their chances, but holy shit the refs were atrocious in the 3rd. They missed three obvious fouls on 3s, one a potential 4 point play, a few fouls on drives that led to turnovers and points for the Warriors. That’s the difference of the game. I don’t think there’s

Save us Lebron

I don’t see how the Cavs can defend either team. Their only chance is to hope the Rockets somehow win tonight and Chris Paul can’t play

I hope not because it’s fun watching Lebron rip the hearts out Celtics fans while Paul Pierce looks on.

Put him on the Sixers or Rockets and he’s taking them to the finals. It wouldn’t be easy but I would favor either of those teams to win their respective conferences

Besides the Mavs finals, Lebron was on the lesser team each time he lost, so I don’t think it’s a knock on his GOAT resume. It’s hard to compare eras, but Lebron is the most complete player ever and he’ll likely end up having the greatest career ever.

Only Lebron and a few players from the Russell era Celtics have done that. Bill Russell is the only player with ten straight and I think Lebron can possibly surpass him

Scott Foster is reffing tonight. The Rockets have a 1-7 record in games he officiated the last two seasons. 0-5 in the playoffs. He’s regarded as the worst ref almost universally and somehow he gets assigned to the biggest game of the year

This is his 3rd concussion in two years. Given that the rest of his body has been beat up the last few years as well it wouldn’t surprise me if he retired early.

The Cavs, in particular Dan Gilbert, were idiots for getting rid of David Griffin.

Remember when Marcus Morris proclaimed to be a Lebron stopper before the series and people started to wonder if he was right after game 1

I could totally see J.R. Smith hitting a series clinching 3 after going like 1 for 8

Fuck it, give Iso Joe minutes
