It really makes me sad when I see all those "dislikes" on the youtube video of this... It is a beautiful moment for mankind, but we are so embroiled in hatred that it cant even be appreciated by everyone. I am just amazed that WE, humans, could accomplish this... When I looked at that pic, it made me laugh.. not in a haha way, but in a "dear lord that is insanely insane" kind of way. We are sooooooooooo small and insignificant but yet look how much we have learned about the world around us.... amazing

LCD does not generally have equal picture quality compared to a plasma of the same tier. At the top, Plasmas have better PQ. Also plasmas do have better viewing angles mainly since plasma is an emissive tech compared to transmissive.

Out of curiosity, what didn't you like about how the plasmas looked?

I had a similar ghosting issue and got the TV swapped out (it was deemed defective). New one never ghosts even if I leave something paused till the screensaver kicks in.

I would actually like to see a thorough comparison between the two, so I will give you that. Neither is good for us.
