That’s my go-to move when I enter any restroom that’s not my own. I like being hygienic, but also it gives me an excuse to wash and find another bathroom if it’s clear I will have to pee/poop next to another person.

After a mishap with hot peppers and genitalia, I’ve gotten into the habit of washing my hands prior to using the bathroom at all times, not just in public.
