Exceptionally well directed, acted and shot, "The Witch" does many things well, but scary isn't one of them. Unsettling yes, but not scary. I'll bet it's building what will probably be a large cult following this very minute. Mainstream audiences are, I think, going to hate this movie after the way it's been

"Deadpool" is a perpetual joke machine. The jokes don't hit every time, but those that do get big laughs & there are a lot of them.

"Why not."

We definitely traded down.

Bud Abbott IS the best straight man in the business. Watching those movies as a kid he was always getting in the way of Lou's comedy. Now, I see he is as funny, if not funnier, than Lou. Genius.

The talking fish and, later, a talking bear in "Road to Utopia" is never not funny.

Neither am I. A number of really good supporting roles got lost to actors on the way out (who were probably robbed in a similar fashion years earlier).

Oscar Supporting Acting noms/awards are often given out as a legacy reward for a job well done. Stallone's nomination is a classic example of that (not to mention he returned as a beloved lifetime character).

"Did I urinate on your rug?"
"You mean, did you personally come and pee on my rug?"
"Do you speak English sir? Parla usted Inglese?"

His last words? Pretty sure those are his only words.

John Cena's character's name was Pazuzu in "Sisters". Not sure if I was the only person in the theater to laugh at that.

Not only Catholics. I was brought up believing in a literal DEVIL and that can be hard to shake. I've seen "The Exorcist" numerous times and it still scares the hell (sorry) out of me. It's a great thriller with a lot more going on than jump scares. Father Karras is one of the great tortured characters in film history.

"The Devil is here actin' the motherfuckin' fool."

Take the Cash (K.A.S.H.)!

It is.

Right!?!? I'm from the deep South and I still haven't figured that (lack of) logic. Let's at least be properly consistent with our hatred okay, bigots?

Slow to start but really revs up when the party begins and never really stops again. Not 100% funny, but there are a great number of laughs.

This was all the more odd considering it happened in Hollywood. They didn't look like tourists either. Not a knock against them, just weird when you can't go two feet without seeing or hearing, "STAR WARS!!!!"

"Did George Lucas direct this one?", group in front of me in line.
