"You were playing a tomato!!!!!!"

"If there is reincarnation, I'd like to come back as Warren Beatty's fingertips." - Woody Allen

Stones fans threw trash at Prince in 1981 at Dodger Stadium. Clash fans nearly rioted over Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five opening for the boys in NYC (also, I think, in 1981). That said, please toss as much trash as possible at the Beebs.

I'm over forty and lately have been noticing my tolerance for depressing films dropping rapidly as well. Still, I heard more than a few raves about "Room" and decided to brave it. At times the film crushes to the point I really questioned why I was there. But it all pays off. It's a tough, at times beautiful, film

"Room" is at times difficult to sit through but well worth watching. The film's many heart stopping, heartbreaking dramatic sequences consistently upend your equilibrium. Stellar performances from one and all (the kid is remarkable). Features one of the most enraging characters (Old Nick) I've seen in some time.

Aside from Larry Squabdale, who is the audience for this? Do they sell this off to Romania where it does boffo box office? Someone has to be making money, right?

"Crimewave" is worth it simply for Bruce Campbell as "Renaldo the Heel".

I was a movie theater usher when "Marathon Man" was released. You could set your watch by the dental torture scene as the lobby would all of a sudden fill up with more than a few dazed women who wanted NO PART of that. Movie, at that time, was notorious for its onscreen violence.

Michael Pena should be in everything.

It's a tragic misuse of resources.

Is he really nuts?

And he certainly doesn't deserve to be portrayed by the great David Oyelowo.

…and there's gonna be a sequel! Fox said so!

I just watched the episode where the late, great Jack Cassidy as Ted's brother comes to town for a visit. We quickly discover they are insanely competitive over EVERYTHING. Man, they both just kill it in that episode.

DVD from Netflix. Eight episodes on each disc. On disc 2 now.

The Jesse Eisenberg in "End of the Tour" could easily pass for Paul Westerberg's twin. Bring on the "Replacements" bio pic!

Re-watching MTM series now. On season 2 at the moment. Each episode is remarkably tight and damn near perfect. Timeless material.

"Pieces, Aquarius, Capricorn, & Jones Ltd." is one of the great stoned in L.A. records. Still holds up quite well.

Because: Satan. Seriously (to those believers).

Drudge often links to Hollywood Reporter articles. The most innocuous stories are overrun with insane comments you would think are right out of, well, The Onion.
