A lot of self-proclaimed Jordan Peterson loving incels hated the show because they thought the show made fun of them. When it actuality it was a somewhat decent formulaic inoffensive network sitcom.

I didn’t like this show, and have probably only watched one episode, but the amount of glee people are taking in its end is weird to me.

I GUARANTEE you that the final scene of the show will involve them all leaving the apartment, seeing that the elevator is finally fixed, and then all silently deciding to use the stairs anyway.

I think if this basic premise had been pulled off more gracefully, it would star someone heavier throughout, and have them getting into shape at a healthy pace. Maybe have some less obvious prosthetics for some before stuff, but nothing as egregious as a full on fat suit on a skinny woman.
