I don't think Will Smith is the kind of black man that has reason to fear the LAPD. 

These two particular black men are not in danger of the LAPD. OJ Simpson never had to fear the LAPD and he did things more severe than slapping someone over a tasteless joke.

Rock is just as rich and powerful as the Smiths. He's also practically built jis career on ridiculing black women and is one of those "cancel culture is ruining comedy" morons.

This Bruce Wayne is still a very clever person. Even staying under the radar like he does requires a great deal of intelligence given how famous his parents were.

I remember that twitter thread from a few years ago about a black Batman. If this is how people react every time a white actor is cast as Bruce Wayne, I can only imagine what announcing a black guy to play him would do.

In fairness, the train got destroyed in the first movie, so maybe no one bothered to rebuild it. And while the Narrows are nice, I don't think they have to be relevant to every movie.

I just never understood this criticism. We had Bruce travelling the world  being trained by ninjas, calling hinself Batman, hell this trilogy's take on Bane is the most accurate of any adaptation. Where is this supposed lack of respect for the source material?
