I saw $4500 and literally gagged. This used car market is sooo far out of whack. This has been a $500-800 car if its running for 25 years, and was destined for scrap yard if it didn’t run.  I bought and sold one similar to this in the early 90's for around $1000 but was in much better condition.

It boggles my mind that $4500 is considered reasonable for this these days

This car’s picture is in the dictionary next to the definition for $1000 car.

Oh HELL NO! When the seller won’t even bother to clean his shit out of a vehicle, you know all you need to know about his/her approach to stuff like maintenance. This is 20 miles away from being parked by the side of the road, the plates removed and left to the county to eventually tow away. Massive No Dice!

But I will be kicking ass on the 4 degree slopes.

The engine will be screaming every time you encounter a 5 degree slope. Does that count?

When he lists the ad for $1500, I’d start to pay attention.

In this market theres no such thing as a $500 car. If it runs it’s at least  2 grand.

I have a REALLY dumb question:

For being a citizen of a capitalist nation, it ceases to amaze me how little knowledge of capitalism US citizens have.

The Easter Bunny is a socialist tool. Giving away colored eggs and candy will just make kids dependent on hand outs and expect free stuff! Don’t even get him started on Santa Claus.

It’s a shame this happened in April. His extended family would have had a much merrier Christmas if he had done this in December.
