I agree. Valve is not a “good guy.”

The UI makes it kind of hard to deal with, but it’s not that bad. I actually like the games on there that are cross-platform (like Ark and State of Decay 2). That way I can play with my Xbox friends but don’t have to use an Xbox.
I’m in the same boat as you. It’s nice to have one system, but from a business perspective I can see why Bethesda wouldn’t want 30% of their sales going to Valve when they can just develop their own launcher. The only reason Steam even succeeded to begin with is because Valve had control of the multiplayer world with C…
I saw in a video about the beta that there was a leak saying the first version of the game was more focused on tactical gameplay and 5v5 style modes that encouraged team play, similar in vein to Overwatch or R6: Siege. I would much rather see a game like that.
Actually... no. We will not get paid. We have already been informed about that, and that we still have to work.
My issue with the film has nothing to do with the all female cast, but the trend that we are starting to see where remakes are made just to cash in on a given name. You could easily have an all-female heist movie and call it anything else. Just like the new Jumanji movie actually looks pretty good but could have…
That’s a good point, like I said, there could be certain escape clauses in there, but based on the information given. While that could be the case, Lumberyard pulled Crytek out of going bankrupt, so it would be hard to argue that them going backrupt is why they switched to Lumberyard.
It’s similar to CryEngine but has some features missing, and that “different name” piece is huge when part of their agreement was to advertise CryEngine, not Lumberyard. Even still, if it’s defined as a different engine, even if it has extremely similar source code, it’ still a different engine, and therefore would…
I mean, a lot of people are saying this is a desparate move on Crytek, and while it may be, they have a point. If you license an engine and sign collaboration saying you will EXCLUSIVELY use that engine for the game, switching engines definitely violates that contract. I’m not sure what kind of escape clauses are in…
Growing up I thought I was the only person who loved this game, it makes me happy that I was not alone.
I wouldn’t consider it cheating, but if I had someone like this on my team, I’d be a little upset. It’s not very sportsmanlike.
I’m sad to not see a PC confirmation, especially after they brought the original to PC.
This is AMAZING news. Now they need to announce a Skies of Arcadia either remake or sequel.
The Mirror’s Edge one looks a lot like Bae Doona, and really makes me wish they’d make a good Mirror’s Edge movie and cast her as Faith.
I hate to say it, but that’s the risk of dumping money into a game. Imagine if WoW went down, you really think Blizzard is going to pay everyone back their subscription funds?
This can be both good and bad. I mean, let’s say I have a blast but not much time, then I won’t stay in that game very long. I’d rather have just a simple thumbs up/thumps down system where you can say “yeah, liked this guy” or “no, didn’t like this guy”
Then they must have had some weird version. Rey, Kylo, Bosk, Yoda, Darth Maul, and Han Solo are all unlocked from the moment you start.
My guess is that it will be one turtle, with each being a skin, similar to they way Captain Cold and Mr Freeze are the same.
Actually, this wasn’t the intro for Medal of Honor: Allied Assault.
Which, if you read the EUA, they say that portion of the game will be unavailable should the multiplayer servers ever be shut down.
